Kano State Deputy Governor, Nasir Gawuna, and Mutari Sule, Commissioner for Local Government and chieftaincy title in the state, have both been arrested for disrupting collation of results in Nassarawa Local Government Area of the state.

The duo is a member of the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC).

Consequently, Nigerians have taken to their Twitter handle to berate them for engaging in such shameful act.

Rigging was reduced to the barest minimum and the deputy governor was even arrested for attempted rigging.
