How to check 2019 WAEC result

Here is how to check your 2019 WAEC result online with ease, you do not need to buy any scratch card to check your results this year.

Just as we earlier reported, the West African Examination Council yesterday released the Senior School Certificate Examination results for private candidates, withholding 376 candidates’ over malpractice.

The private candidate examination tagged the new diet of WASSCE for private candidates, is a new programme introduced in 2017. Its first edition was conducted in January/February 2018; and the 2019 first series examination, concluded on February 4, 2019.

WAEC has recorded mass failure in its 2019 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates held in January.

This is the second time the examination body will record mass failure in its January examination since its introduction in 2018.

Announcing the results in Lagos on Tuesday, the Head of Nigeria National Office (HNO) of WAEC, Isaac Adenipekun, said out of 12,202 candidates that registered for the examination, 11,892 took part in the examination. Of this number, only 3,102 candidates representing 26.08 per cent obtained credit and above in a minimum of five subjects including English Language and General Mathematics.

• Go to WAEC 2019 result checking portal at https://ift.tt/2oqbEZn
• Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
• Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2019
• Select the Type of Examination
• Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number
• Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN
• Click Submit and wait for the results window to come.
