Buhari mourns the death of two Nigerians in the Ethiopian airlines plane crash

President Muhammadu Buhari has mourned two Nigerians, Ambassador Abiodun Bashua and English Professor Pius Adesanmi on died in yesterday’s ill-fated Kenya bond, Ethiopian airlines flight.

The sad incident which occurred just a few minutes after take off, claimed the lives of all 157 passengers and crew members on board.

Buhari who earlier sent a condolence message to the Ethiopian PM over the unfortunate crash, lamented the death of two Nigerians, who were on board the flight.

He wrote: I mourn the passing of Ambassador Abiodun Bashua and Professor Pius Adesanmi in the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash which occurred yesterday. Distinguished Nigerians who did the nation proud in their professional endeavors.

My prayers and thoughts are with the families and friends of Amb. Bashua and Prof. Adesanmi, and of all the other passengers and crew who lost their lives in the crash. May the Almighty God give them the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
