BREAKING NEWS: Young & Restless Star Kristoff St. John Died From Heart Disease It’s Discovered

Sad news has just been released stating that Kristoff St. John, one of the stars of the hit TV show ‘Young and Restless’ who passed away last month, died from heart disease.

A report shared by TMZ states that the technical cause was ‘hypertrophic heart disease’.

At this time, it’s thought that the death is accidental and in now way caused by another’s intentional interference.

For those that don’t know, the disease causes the heart great difficulty in pumping blood and can often be overlooked/undiagnosed for a long time or ever.

There have been no other factors attached to his cause of death.

Stories broke the news of Kristoff’s death weeks ago but an official cause was never officially stated.

Sources from law enforcement explained that a friend of the actor had gone to check on him when he found him dead.

Paramedics were called but Kristoff was pronounced dead on the scene.

Prior to that TMZ reported that the actor had checked himself into UCLA medical centre earlier in the year on mental health grounds, as he was suffering from depression.

Having been released, Kristoff was found dead just days later.

The actor had experienced great sadness in his life beforehand, with the death of his son Julian, linked to his mental health struggles.

Fans of the show will know just how integral he was to its success, having played the role of Neil Winters since 1991.

He’ll be sadly missed.

If you’re suffering from mental health issues like depression, just talking to someone could do the world of good. Don’t be afraid to reach out, there are helplines across America in place.

RIP Kristoff St. John.
