Breaking news: Commissioner resigns few hours to election

The Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development in Bauchi State, Hon. Garbi Mohammed Akuyam, has resigned his appointmentr.

Before becoming the Finance Commissioner, Garbi served as the Director-General for Governor Muhammed Abubakar during the 2015 election.

In a copy of the resignation letter obtained by our correspondent, the former Commissioner said he is compelled to resign in view of recent developments and political realities of present day Bauchi State.
