Breaking: Demolition of marked buildings begins in Lagos

The Lagos State Government (LASG) have begun the demolition of marked buildings in Freeman Street, Ita-Faji, Lagos. This is as a result of the collapse of a marked building in the area that left scores injured and dead.

Among the victims were pupils of a primary school situated on the third floor of the building. It was discovered after the building collapsed that, it had been marked for demolition by LASG since 2014.
