#2019Election: Political Group urge INEC to declare PDP winner

A group in Bauchi State under the aegis of  South East Coalition for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare Senator Bala Mohammed, the PDP candidate in the March 9 governorship election, winner of the polls.

The group’s chairman, Chief Emeka Aneke Ekwueme, made the call in a statement in Bauchi while reacting to the recommendations made by the committee sent to Bauchi State by the INEC national headquarters.

Ekwueme urged INEC to declare Senator Mohammed of the PDP winner of the election as he is God’s choosen and there was no violation of electoral laws.

He pointed out that Bala was leading the APC’s candidate and incumbent governor, Muhammed Abubakar with thousands of votes after results collated from almost all the local government areas in the state including Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area whose results were rejected by the commission.
