#2019Budget: Senate to commence deliberation on 2019 Budget

At the plenary of the Senate on Tuesday 12th of March, the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, announced that the Senate will begin the debate on the 2019 Appropriation Bill today.

This was the first plenary of the Senate since the conclusion of 2019 general elections. Senate President, Bukola Saraki told senators who have something to say about the budget, make a list of their names for proper coordination.

The budget had been presented by President Muhammad Buhari on the 19th of December 2018.
