20 Incredibly Rare Photographs Of Your Favorite Celebrities You’ve Definitely Never Seen Before
Celebrities, we’re completely bombarded with images of them constantly, day in and day out. At this point, we could probably describe our favorite to celebrities in so much detail that… well, if they heard us they’d be 100% freaked out.
But what about those photographs we haven’t seen? Yes, they do exist! And you might find yourself completely surprised at the side of them they show you.
I’ve got together 20 of my all time rare celebrity photographs, and it’s possibly one of my favorite lists I’ve ever put together.
So scroll down and see who you can recognize, you never know what you may find!
Enjoy!
1. 7-year-old George Clooney hanging with his family in 1968.
Well, I think it’s safe to say that George Clooney has not changed ONE. BIT. Look at that cheeky little smile! I’d recognize it anywhere.
2. Young Morgan Freeman
Honestly, I didn’t think Morgan Freeman was EVER young (and I’m sure I’m not alone in that). I just assumed he’d arrived on this planet with that amazing voice of his and his salt and peppered hair.
3. 7-Year-Old Drew Barrymore Giving Princess Diana An E.T. Doll While Robert Macnaughton And Steven Spielberg Is Looking On At The London Premiere Of E.T.
There are so many amazing things about this one image that I don’t even know what to comment on first. How about how crazy it is to think that Princess Diana actually attended the E.T. premiere in London, for a start? And baby Drew Barrymore GAVE HER AN E.T. DOLL. WHAT.
4. A 19-year-old Robin Williams in 1969
Here’s another star I never imagined young, but it definitely seems like he never changed over the years, just got better with age! And still incredibly missed to this day. Possibly my favorite actor of all time.
5. 26-Year-Old Marylin Monroe Working Out in 1952.
So I totally thought this image was photoshopped when I first saw it! But as it turns out its 100% real. Hey, even the Queen of Curves Marylin Monroe herself had to work hard to maintain her shapely figure!
6. 20-Year-Old Helena Bonham Carter hanging out in 1986.
Oh how I wish I was the level of cool now as Helena was when she was 26! And her whole aesthetic has not changed ONE BIT, which gives me a lot of hope. I definitely would have wanted to be her friend in High School!
7. Albert Einstein Wearing A Traditional Headdress At The Grand Canyon With A Local Tribe in 1922.
Usually, when you see photographs of Albert Einstein he has his crazy white hair and he’s sat in front of his chalkboard or sat behind his chaotic desk, so it’s really cool to see him like this in this setting! Not sure if those native Americans are feeling it though…
8. Young Stephen Hawking with his first wife Jane in 1965
If you’ve seen The Theory of Everything you’ll know all about Stephens relationship with Jane (and if you haven’t, you should totally go watch it), and looking at this photograph the film itself couldn’t be more spot on. It’s strange to think there was a time when Stephen Hawking wasn’t confined to his wheelchair!
9. 13-Year-Old Elijah Wood And 20-Year-Old Leonardo Dicaprio At The 66th Academy Awards, 1994
This is SUCH an adorable image, look how sweet and innocent these two cheeky guys look! So crazy to think they were both in attendance at the Academy Awards while they were so young and fresh-faced.
10. 26-Year-Old Kurt Cobain Showing A Kitten To His Daughter Frances, 1993
This image makes me so happy yet so sad all at the same time. At this point, you would never know Kurt had all those demons living inside of him, but it’s nice to know there were moments of joy and love between father and daughter before he passed.
11. Tobey Maguire And Leonardo Dicaprio Met At An Audition At A Young Age. Best Buddies Since The 90’s
I have totally seen this image before, and it is still one of my all time FAVORITE’S. I just love the fact that despite being two Hollywood big shots (especially these days) have managed to remain the best of friends all of these years.
12. Bruce Lee In The 70’s
Okay, I’m just gonna say it… Bruce Lee was an absolute FOX back in the 70’s, hot damnnn! This is a great image of the action hot-shot. And I never knew he was so TALL… could be the heels though.
13. 36-Year-Old Harrison Ford, 1978
Okay, truth time. I have had this image of Harrison Ford saved on multiple devices over the years. Do you blame me? I mean look at him. Safe to say, I’ve been a very big Star Wars fan for a very long time.
14. 26-Year-Old Vice President Joe Biden
And here we have another secret fox on our hands! This image of the former Vice President actually resurfaced online a couple of years ago, and let me put it this way, it did indeed cause quite the stir with the young ladies (and some young gentlemen, too).
15. Audrey Hepburn Pulls A Funny Face On The Set Of The Romantic Comedy How To Steal A Million In Paris In The 60’s
We’re so used to seeing Audrey Hepburn looking so refined and elegant, it’s nice to see her letting loose and little and acting a little crazy! 10/10 for this funny face Miss Hepburn!
16. 4-Year-Old Barack Obama At The Beach With His Grandfather
What an amazing image of the former President of the United States! Don’t you think he has a striking resemblance to his grandfather here too? The Obama men have had it going on for many generations!
17. 16-Year-Old Jessica Biel And 14-Year-Old Scarlett Johansson, 1998
I have honestly never looked as good in my entire life as Jessica Biel and Scarlet Johansson did at ages 14 and 16. None of us ever stood a freakin’ chance… life can be so unfair sometimes! They still look amazing today though.
18. Young Maggie Smith In The 60’s And 70’s
This has got to be one of my favorite photosets EVER. We all know and love the Maggie Smith of today, but who knew she was such an absolute knock-out in her earlier years!? I’d kill for her bone structure! Classic beauty.
19. Actress Meryl Streep Riding In A NYC Subway Train In 90’s
Can you imagine seeing this picture show up online, seeing yourself in the background and suddenly realizing you were a meter from Meryl Streep on a subway at one point in your life!? I’d kick myself. Only Meryl Streep can make the NYC subway look THIS good!
20. Teenager Alan Rickman At The Latymer Upper School (1956-1964)
And last but not least, another Potter legacy actor… Alan Rickman. And sadly, another legend who left us a few years ago. But it’s completely amazing to see him in this setting, looking as defiant yet serious as he’s always been. Bless you, Alan Rickman.
Well, folks, what do you think? Are you as amazed by these photographs as I am? I think I’ve saved pretty much all of them to my computer now. If you have any of your own rare celebrity photographs share them with me in the comments! And don’t forget to share this with your friends and family so they can be amazed too! x
