15 Actors Who Are Shockingly Different In Real Life Vs. Movies

When we see our favourite actors in the movies they often look very attractive, brave and just basically perfect. However, real life can certainly paint a very different picture, not necessarily for the worse though!

These actors have a certain image on the screen that certainly does not reflect their real-life personalities and actions. In my opinion, these actors look much more desirable in real-life because that is who they actually are, also, it’s much more realistic and obtainable than these dramatic on-screen representations!

So, let’s take a look at what our favourite actors are really like in real life, do you still love them just as much?

1.) Jason Momoa

Everyone knows Jason Momoa as the tough guy from Game of Throne who always looks angry and very intimidating. In real life, this persona literally couldn’t be further from the truth! He is very much a family man who loves his wife and kids, he is positively joyful, which is why everyone loves him so much.

2.) Tom Hardy

Tom Hardy always looks pretty intense and on edge in movies, thanks to his character always being in some kind of danger or trouble. However, since Tom Hardy has started a family, his character has changed dramatically in real life, he looks nothing more than taking his adorable dog on walks! He is also good friends with Leonardo DiCaprio and that definitely isn’t a bad thing…

3.) Jamie Dornan

Most people know Jamie Dornan for his steamy role as Grey in the movie Fifty Shades of Grey. However, in real life, he hates being online and likes to keep his private life very much private. He is definitely a family man though, happily married with children and expecting another! His favourite activity is golf which surprises me, who would have thought Mr Grey loves a spot of golf?!

Jude Law has always been known for his charm and attractiveness in all of the roles he plays. Even at 46 he still makes many women and men swoon over his beauty! It appears that Jude Law is very popular in real life too, being the father of five children, all from different women. He is happily a bachelor who dedicates his life to work, breaking women’s hearts in a similar way that his characters do!

There’s no doubt about it that Jake is probably one of the most attractive Hollywood stars out there but he is somehow still a bachelor with no partner or kids! He is a very mysterious man indeed and I can’t believe that he is 38 now. Hopefully Jake will settle down one day, for now, he has got his many dogs to keep him company!

Tom often plays very aristocratic characters on screen and is considered one of the sexiest actors around. A few years ago, his relationship with the lovely Taylor Swift ended to his has decided to keep his personal life very private since. However, we can see that he does loads of amazing charity work in his spare time and seems like a great guy!

We all know James Franco from movies such as 127 hours but he also writes a lot of essays and articles in his spare time! He does loads of lectures about films and acting for free too. He loves taking selfies too, especially with his dog!

It’s hard to come across a Marvel blockbuster without the amazing Chris Hemsworth. However, in his real life, Chris is a very different person indeed. Chris is a big fan of fitness and a healthy lifestyle (I wonder what that’s like) which is pretty perfect for his muscular superhero roles!
