What’s Your Chinese Zodiac Animal And What Exactly Does It Say About You?
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYBODY! And welcome to 2019, aka the year of the Pig! But, hang on a second… what exactly does that mean?
So, I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of the “regular” zodiacs we follow, right? Aquarius, Taurus, Virgo, Cancer etc etc, all those quirky little star signs based on the date we were born and somehow have some major effect on the type of personalities we develop and what fancy coloured stones we should wear in our jewllwery.
Well, did you also know that Chinese culture has it’s very own zodiac signs? Well, if you didn’t, you’re about to!
So how is it different to our astrological zodiac? Well, first of all, the Chinese zodiac goes off of what year you were born, rather than whether you were born within a certain time frame of dates. Also, instead of your personality traits being assigned to a particular constellation, for the Chinese zodiac your personality is assigned to a particular, every-day animal instead.
Got that? Pretty easy to understand really. Anyway… on to the fun part! What’s YOUR animal based on the year you were born!? Keep scrolling to find out!
Rat

Not the most pleaqsant animal, but they can be pretty cute! People born within the Years of the Rat are witty, clever and charming. They’re also very money-driven, meaning they can exhibit tendencies of being greedy… however they are always curious and welcome new challenges with open arms!
