Jussie Smollett staged attack: Donald Trump Jr reacts

Donald Trump Jr has reacted after fresh police reports revealed that Jussie Smollett might have staged his alleged homophobic attack.

According to new facts, empire star, Jussie Smollett reportedly paid two men to orchestrate an assault on him that he reported late last month.

Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo agreed to cooperate with authorities after detectives confronted them with evidence that they bought the rope allegedly used in an attack that Smollett described to police as laced with racial and homophobic slurs.

According to two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation who spoke to CNN, he actor paid two brothers to stage an attack against him, directed them to buy items used in the alleged assault and rehearsed it with them.

The men, who are brothers, were arrested and questioned by police on Wednesday but released without charges Friday after Chicago police cited the discovery of “new evidence.”

Chicago police spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi said:

“We can confirm that the information received from the individuals questioned by police earlier in the Empire case has in fact shifted the trajectory of the investigation. We’ve reached out to the Empire cast member’s attorney to request a follow-up interview.”
