From their adorable children to their relationship goals, we are all obsessed with this Royal duo. We were all charmed by the-girl-next-door Kate and here’s some facts to make you love them even more!

1.) Prince William met Kate Middleton at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland

These two lovebirds met all the way back in University! They were both living in St. Salvator’s Hall during their first year which is where the romance blossomed. Such innocent young love and so much hair on William’s head!

2.) Prince William noticed Kate as she walked a fashion show

Kate managed to land herself a prince by volunteering for a charity fashion show and wearing this skimpy outfit, he certainly paid attention! The dress only cost around £30 (about $40) to make. It was later sold at a charity auction for £78,000 (around $106,262). Everyone wants Kate’s lucky dress!

3.) They shared an apartment during their second year

William and Kate shared an apartment with some friends during their second year which is when the romance started brewing. Their old college buddies have said that despite their royal fame, the couple haven’t changed at all! Kate really is the-girl-next-door.

4.) They both graduated in 2005 with awesome degrees

Kate graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Art History whilst William graduated with an MA in Geography. Kate hasn’t aged a day she still looks just as fabulous!

5.) Prince William has the highest educational degree in the Royal family

Well, they do say that the oldest sibling is always the most intelligent so it makes sense!

6.) Kate received 24-hour royal security in 2006 which sparked rumours…

When Kate’s security was upped to 24-hours, it was a HUGE hint that the couple were likely to get engaged. Looks like the people were right!

7.) The couple actually broke up in 2007

Prince William broke up with Kate OVER THE PHONE because he wasn’t ready to get married, shame on him! Prince Charles advised his son not to rush into marriage as he did with Princess Diana. Thankfully, they were back together a few months later and all was right in the world once again!

8.) Prince William FINALLY proposed in Fall 2010

It only took him another THREE YEARS. Men really do never get the hint, I tell you.

9.) He proposed with Princess Diana’s sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring

Prince Harry received Princess Diana’s ring after her untimely death. However, the brothers agreed that whoever got engaged first would get the historic engagement ring. I think Kate deserved it after waiting SO long!

10.) Kate borrowed the Halo Scroll tiara by Cartier from the Queen’s collection for her wedding day

It looked truly beautiful. I could never wear something that posh and expensive, I would be so worried about it somehow falling off all day! I am NOT built to be a Royal.

11.) Kate was seen at Tesco shopping for groceries

For those who aren’t from the UK, Tesco’s is a semi-budget grocery store. This shows how Kate stays humble even though she’s now a royal, still got to pop down to the shops for those nappies!

12.) The couple’s main residence is a 22-room apartment

Can you really call it an apartment when it has 22 ROOMS?! Imagine the parties, it must be amazing. It’s so convenient that their offices are so close too, although they can’t blame traffic if they are late to work. Not that I would complain though!

13.) Kate suffered from Hyperemesis Gravidarum during her pregnancies

Kate was admitted to hospital with Hyperemesis Gravidarum during her pregnancies which causes severe morning sickness. The things women have to go through for their families!

14.) Their first son Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born on July 22 2013

Look at his little wave, he is simple SO adorable and sweet. They are very lucky parents!

15.) Their second child Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge, was born on May 2 2015

This Duke and Duchess are definitely blessed with the BEST baby-making genes ever, all of their children are such angels. Also, HOW does Kate look so amazing straight after literally pushing a tiny human out of her?!

16.) Princess Charlotte is the first female royal not be outranked by her male siblings

Thanks to a change in the constitution, the line of succession is based on birth order rather than gender. Princess Charlotte is a trend-setter and little does she know it but is doing wonders for female empowerment.

17.) Their third child Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge, was born on April 23, 2018

Kate is still looking as glowing as ever, straight out of the hospital after giving birth, I really don’t know how she does it. Another adorable child, of course, these two are on FIRE!

18.) George was named after his great-great-grandfather Albert

It’s awesome to have such historical significance behind all of your children’s names like Kate and William have done, really pays homage to past family members.

19.) Charlotte is a variation of Charles, the name of Prince William’s father

Charlotte is directly named after her grandfather which is just so adorable! A lot of pressure on such tiny shoulders though, considering her line in succession to the throne!

20.) Louis was also the name of the Earl of Mountbatten

Louis was named after the Earl of Mountbatten who was a father figure to Prince Philip and Prince Charles before he was murdered by the IRA in 1979 which was extremely sad and tragic.

I don’t know about you, but I love this Duke and Duchess even more now! Kate really seems such a humble, down to Earth sweetheart and I’m so happy that she finally got her prince. What do you love about the Royals? Let us know in the comments!
