Dogs certainly are man’s best friend, owners form a bond like no other with their adorable pooch and every owner certainly is inseparable from their furry friend. However, there is a routine a dog owner must go through on a daily basis and they wouldn’t change it for the world!

From morning to evening, dog owners are always doting on their best friend, however, that doesn’t stop them from wanting another! If you are thinking of getting a dog or are already an owner, here is a glimpse into a day in the life of a dog owner…

1.) This is what you wake up to

Thinking of having a lie-in? Think again! This is the look you will wake up to until you get up and feed your furry friend. At least you are never lonely when you wake up!

2.) King Bean wants his breakfast

Every morning your dog will leave not-so-subtle hints that they want their breakfast and NOW. They act as though they haven’t eaten for weeks to make you feel guilty enough to feed them before you’ve even started making your coffee. You still love them though.

3.) They get VERY excited about walks

Sometimes dogs get so excited about walks that they forget how to walk like a normal dog as you can see…don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with your dog, it’s just the daily routine.

4.) Put the right equipment on

It’s important to always have the right equipment when you own a dog. Make sure you check the temperature outside and dress them up in adorable coats if its cold.

5.) Beware of dogs who haven’t seen the snow before

If your dog hasn’t seen snow before or not for a long time, you might want to watch out, they can start behaving a little…odd. They get a little bit too excited about strange weather, it’s just a normal experience for dog owners.

6.) Bath time is always fun

Dog owners insist on washing their dogs paws after a walk, mainly because it means that they can style their dogs hair however they want.

Don’t underestimate your dog’s love for hide and seek, dog owners must go through this on a daily basis. It’s just as fun for the owner though too!

Dogs may sometimes sing you a song if you’re lucky. Yes, you may be trying to work or the baby might have FINALLY fallen asleep, but you appreciate the performance anyway!

If dog owners want both themselves and their dog to feel happier, they just pet them. This immediately increases everyone’s happiness by 100%.

10.) Always leave the bathroom door open

Your doggo always wants to know that you are okay. So, make sure that you leave the bathroom door open AT ALL TIMES so that they can check on you. Privacy is overrated.

11.) Dogs miss you 24/7

If you go into a different room or, god forbid, actually leave the house, your dog will miss you IMMEDIATELY. At least they greet you will love when you return!
