This means that the general public tends to know EVERYTHING about celebrity love lives and this isn’t always a good thing for celebrities, especially if they are cheating on their partner. So, let’s take a look at the biggest celebrity cheating scandals to date and maybe learn from their mistakes…

 

1.) Ellen Degeneres and Anne Heche

Before being happily married to Portia de Rossi (couple goals), Ellen was once dating Anne Heche in 1997 until it ended in 2000.

The split was “amicable” according to Anne Heche, however, it was rumoured that she was cheating on Ellen with a cameraman called, Coleman Laffoon, who she later married! At least Ellen has found her true soulmate now.

 

2.) Jude Law and Sienna Miller

The Jude Law and Sienna Miller scandal was named by US Magazine as one of the biggest cheating scandals of all time, so this definitely wasn’t hidden from the public eye.

The pair were engaged to be married in 2004, however, in 2005 Jude Law issued a public statement apologizing to Sienna for cheating on her with his children’s nanny!

The couple split in 2006 after attempting to work on their relationship, they got back together for two years in 2009 but it never worked out.

 

3.) Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were the number one celebrity couple of the 2000’s, everyone remembers them being together!

However, J-Lo was married to Chris Judd, her backing dancer in 2001 and they split after only a year in 2002.

Many people believed that the reason for the split was because she was cheating on Chris with Ben Affleck! Ben and Jennifer got together in 2002 so it was suspiciously quick after her divorce…

 

4.) Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

Now, this is a cheating scandal that broke my little Twilight fan-girl heart when I was a teen.

Edward and Bella were MEANT to be together, okay?!

Robert and Kristen set tabloids ablaze when they dated for three years.

However, that came to an abrupt halt after Kristen was snapped in a ‘compromising’ position with her MARRIED director, Rupert Sanders. They broke up and Kristen Stewart apologized to Rupert’s wife and to Pattinson.

 

5.) Heidi Klum and Seal

If anyone was ever couple goals, it was Heidi Klum and Seal, they were just so cute! They married in 2005, had three children together and just seemed to be so in love.

They renewed their vows EVERY YEAR on their anniversary, it was just so pure! However, in 2012 they separated after seven years of marriage. According to the rumour mill, it was Heidi’s relationship with her bodyguard which caused the relationship to break down and she did end up dating him the very same year…

 

6.) Rob Kardashian and Adrienne Bailon

Every second of Rob Kardashian and Adrienne Bailon’s relationship was documented and every scandal taken note of!

Rob even went as far as getting Adrienne’s name tattooed on his chest but that wasn’t a wise decision as they split in 2009 with rumours that he was cheating.

 

7.) Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke

These two were a real 90s power couple and the whole world was rooting for them!

They got married in 1998 and had two children together before splitting in 2003.

As they went through their divorce, rumours began to circulate that Ethan was cheating on Uma with the children’s nanny. What is with celebrities and nannies?! This was never confirmed but Ethan did say in an interview, “people have such a childish view of monogamy…our species is not monogamous.” Sounds like something a cheater would say if you ask me!

 

8.) Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey

After marrying in 2002, the couple got their very own reality TV show called Newlyweds Nick and Jessica, documenting their first steps into married life.

Unfortunately, the marriage only lasted three years with rumours that Jessica was cheating. In 2004 Jessica Simpson was linked to Adam Levine after she was caught leaving a hotel room wearing Levine’s shirt. Sounds a bit fishy to me…

 

9.) Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on camera while his pregnant girlfriend, Khloe was preparing to give birth. TMZ revealed video footage that allegedly reveals Tristan kissing two other women in a club while his heavily pregnant wife was at home.

 

10.) Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver

It shocked the world when Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver announced their separation in 2011 after being together for 25 years. If that wasn’t shocking enough, to make it worse, Arnold actually fathered a son in 1997 with his housekeeper! Thankfully, he still has a healthy relationship with his son.

 

11.) Elizabeth Hurley and Hugh Grant

Hugh Grant was arrested in 1995 for paying a sex worker to perform oral sex on him in his car, while he had a girlfriend! Elizabeth stuck with him for another five years (no idea why) but they ended up breaking up.

 

12.) Regina Lasko and David Letterman

David Letterman had been together with his wife for 20 years but only married for 6 months when he admitted to sleeping with women who worked with him on air. Letterman and his wife have stayed together and have apparently been “never better”. Hmm…

 

13.) Anjelica Huston and Jack Nicholson

Anjelica Huston and Jack Nicholson were together for 17 years and are classed as Hollywood’s greatest love story. Unfortunately, their perfect romance came to an end when it became clear that Jack was having a baby with another woman, actress Rebecca Broussard. They both still talk fondly about their relationship to this day.

 

 

14.) Sandra Bullock and Jesse James

It was revealed that Jesse James had been cheating on Sandra Bullock for a LONG time with MULTIPLE women, he quickly became the most hated man in the world because of it. He checked into rehab for a sex addiction whilst Bullock filed for a divorce. He has since said that he has, “no regret”. Charming!

 

15.) Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray

Fans of the TV show, One Tree Hill, were very happy when these two stars went out. However, Chad put a swift end to the relationship after fooling around with Paris Hilton. Sophia said that they are still friends now and describes their relationship as, “two stupid kids who had no business being in a relationship in the first place.”
