9 MOST Awkward Photos of Nigerian Celebrities That Will Make You Shiver

The Nigerian entertainment scene has seen quite a number of awkward and not so appealing photos of Nigerian celebrities at some point in time doing some awkward things. We have decided to bring you some of the craziest photos of a number of popular celebrities, some are not overly crazy but awkward and they all trended at one time or the other in times past.

2. Davido

It would appear that one doesn’t get their official Davido groupie membership card until they have taken a post-sex picture beside the star when he is fast asleep and leaked it online. Who can forget the pictures Ghanaian Groupie Sonia Jombo aka as Sonia La Bomb leaked on microblogging site Twitter in March 2012?!
The pictures which immediately became a viral sensation showed Sonia, who had clearly hooked up with Davido for some post-concert bedroom action in a series of pictures beside the then 19-year-old pop star who was fast asleep and totally oblivious to the pictures being taken. The leaked images eventually led to the then 19-year-old Sonia being suspended from the Kwame Nkrumah University in Ghana.
Fast forward few months after, and another groupie followed the Sonia La Bomb guide to becoming a 15 second Twitter sensation “Take a picture beside Davido sleeping after you’ve banged him silly” by releasing the above picture. No one ever got to know the identity of the young lady and no reaction from Davido or his camp. 3. Tiwa Savage

After these photos surfaced online the headline on most blogs read ”OMG! Tiwa Savage Displays Her Pants On Stage’ Lol would you blame I remember clearly how shocked I was when I first saw these photos.
The Exquisite Face Of The Universe 2013 world finale, took place on Thursday, December 19, 2013. Over 30 beauty queens from different countries around the world converged in Lagos to compete for the crown. The event, which held at Eko Hotel & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, was hosted by Kenyan radio personality, Angela Angwenyi. The crowd was thrilled with exciting performances from top musicians like Tiwa Savage and Tuface. Tiwa who just got married few months before the event on the 27th November 2013, rocked her usual skimpy outfit on stage.

4. Sean Tizzle

The headlines for this one read ”Sean Tizzle lands big wet kiss on a female fan at New York concert”  Pop star Sean Tizzle did more than perform his hit singles at a New York concert on Friday, May 8, 2015. During his performance, the Difference Entertainment act landed a kiss on a female fan who was obviously hypnotized by his star aura. It wasn’t a peck on the cheeks, but a full lip wet kiss. The concert took place Club TG, in Jamaica, New York. Sean Tizzle and Comedian Basketmouth currently seem to be having a serious beef with each other.


5. Wande Coal

On 7/16/2010 Wande Coal nearly broke  Twitter After his Nekkid Pictures Where Exposed. Kai, dude’s pinky slash little man is small o! [yeap i said it!] and as always, oversensitive dudes react. Wande coal did not say a word but his ’spokemen’  spoke, shouted and wanted all to shut up. 6. Burna Boy 

He rocked pant on stage once in a performance on stage (just like Fela) Burna Boy stunned virtually everyone in the crowd last night at the 2013 Felabration by taking off his clothes and performing “Run My Race” in his underpants, reminiscent of the great Fela Anikulapo Kuti. But During Seun Kuti’s  interview on Rubbin Minds few months later, Seun Kuti said Burna Boy should have known better than stripping to his underwear to perform at Felabration final at the New Afrika Shrine last month. 7. Seyi Shay 

Lol Seyi Shay tries to seduce the President was the headline which accompanied this photo, Lol Singer, Seyi Shay was among the entertainers performed when then President Goodluck Jonathan visited Lagos and the pretty diva ‘broke’ the internet with the dress she wore to meet the president at the event. 

The picture where the singer, wearing an incredibly short dress, while sitting beside the president, went viral and so many fans and foes have expressed their feelings concerning Seyi’s outfit. Many people, including celebrities and notable figures such as comedian Wale Gates; social analyst, Omojuwa, took to their social media accounts to express their feelings over her choice of outfit. 

However, when Saturday Beats contacted the singer, she explained that she had two outfits for the event and the outfit that caused the stir was what she wore to perform. She emphasized that she is a respectable lady and was not planning to seduce the president in any way. “I am a very respectable young lady and I was not in any way trying to seduce the President with the outfit I wore. I had two outfits for the event, one was for my performance and the other was worn after I performed. The dress I was pictured in with the President was what I wore during my performance.

Some ladies won’t just behave themselves. That one with the blue dress seems to be aiming for his weapon of waist destruction, lol. Iyanya posted this pic and tagged it ‘See ladies tearing off my shirt’. These American based Girls literally tore off  Iyanya’s Clothes While he was Performing for them In New York.

9. Omotola Jalade 

This photo nearly Destroyed Omotola’s Marriage, it actually Happened in 2011. Omotola Jalade Ekeinde Became the first Nollywood star to ever walk the red carpet at the 2011 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. The event which would have been a sweet tale, turned sour following a butt-grabbing incident by her escort. The picture had elicited wild rumors and innuendoes-with some speculating that she’s having an extra marital affairs with the guy whose hands was on her backside. Well we sure hope this Never Repeats itself Ever Again!
